Thammasat Institute of Area Studies, Thammasat University Signs MOUs with 6 Institutions from the Philippines and Indonesia

On 21 June 2025, the Thammasat Institute of Area Studies, Thammasat University, held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony at the Sunset Room, 11th Floor, Prince Palace Hotel, Bangkok, with six academic institutions and associations from the Philippines and Indonesia:

1️⃣ The University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) – National College of Public Administration and Governance (NCPAG)

2️⃣ Association of Schools in Public Administration in the Philippines (ASPAP)

3️⃣ The Philippine Society for Public Administration (PSPA)

4️⃣ Asian Association for Public Administration (AAPA) and Indonesian Association for Public Administration (IAPA)

5️⃣ National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) – School of Administration Campus Bandung (Politeknik STIA LAN Bandung), Indonesia

6️⃣ Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro, Indonesia

This MOU aims to promote academic collaboration between partner institutions through the following areas of cooperation:

🔹 Joint research projects

🔹 Co-authorship and academic publications

🔹 Organization of academic lectures and seminars

🔹 Exchange of academic data and resources

The signing ceremony was honored by Asst. Prof. Thanyaporn Soontornthum, Ph.D Director of TIARA and Assoc. Prof. Sida Sonsri, Honorary Advisors of TIARA, who represented Thammasat University in this important initiative.
