21 ตุลาคม 2569 สถาบันอาณาบริเวณศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ นำโดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธันยพร สุนทรธรรม ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันอาณาบริเวณศึกษา, คุณจารุกิตติ์ ปรีชาชาญพาณิชย์ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์อาเซียนศึกษา และ คุณพันธจักร วงศ์ปรีชา ที่ปรึกษาสถาบันฯ เข้าร่วมงานเปิดตัวผลสำรวจ “Kaizen Economic Barometer Thailand 2026” ณ โรงแรม Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit กรุงเทพมหานคร
การสำรวจดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นภายใต้ความร่วมมือระหว่าง สถาบันระหว่างประเทศเพื่อการค้าและการพัฒนา (ITD) กระทรวงพาณิชย์ และ Kaizen Institute เพื่อสะท้อนมุมมองของผู้บริหารระดับสูงทั่วประเทศ อาทิ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร (CEO) กรรมการบริษัท และผู้นำองค์กรธุรกิจ เกี่ยวกับทิศทางเศรษฐกิจและภาคธุรกิจไทย
ภายในงานมีการนำเสนอผลสำรวจในประเด็นสำคัญ ได้แก่
- สภาพแวดล้อมทางธุรกิจ (Business Environment) ทั้งในด้านโอกาสและอุปสรรคที่ภาคธุรกิจกำลังเผชิญ
• ข้อจำกัดและความท้าทาย (Constraints) ที่ส่งผลต่อการดำเนินงาน ประสิทธิภาพ และการเติบโตของธุรกิจ
• การตอบสนองเชิงกลยุทธ์ (Strategic Response) ขององค์กรต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงในบริบทเศรษฐกิจปัจจุบัน
• ความสามารถในการแข่งขัน (Competitiveness) ของประเทศไทยในการสนับสนุนและยกระดับภาคธุรกิจ
• ปัจจัยสนับสนุนนโยบาย (Policy Enablers) ที่เอื้อต่อการเติบโตและการพัฒนาภาคธุรกิจอย่างยั่งยืน
นอกจากนี้ งานดังกล่าวยังเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับแนวโน้มเศรษฐกิจไทย ความท้าทาย โอกาส และลำดับความสำคัญของภาคธุรกิจ ตลอดจนร่วมสร้างฐานข้อมูลอ้างอิงสำหรับการติดตามทิศทางธุรกิจไทยในระยะยาว และสนับสนุนการกำหนดนโยบายและกลยุทธ์เพื่อเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศไทยในอนาคต

On 21 October 2026, Thammasat Institute of Area Studies (TIARA), Thammasat University, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Thanyaporn Soonthornthum, Director of the Thammasat Institute of Area Studies; Mr. Jarukit Preechachanpanich, Director of the ASEAN Studies Center; and Mr.Phanthachak Wongprecha, Advisor to the Institute, attended the launch event of the Kaizen Economic Barometer Thailand 2026 at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok.
The event was jointly organized by the International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD), the Ministry of Commerce, and the Kaizen Institute. The survey captures the perspectives of CEOs, board directors, and senior business leaders from across Thailand regarding the country’s economic outlook and business environment.
Key areas covered in the survey include:
- Business Environment: Opportunities and challenges facing the business sector
• Constraints: Factors affecting business operations, efficiency, and growth
• Strategic Response: How organizations are adapting to change and positioning themselves for the future
• Competitiveness: Factors influencing Thailand’s ability to support and strengthen business competitiveness
• Policy Enablers: Policies and conditions that can facilitate sustainable business growth
The event served as an important platform for exchanging views on Thailand’s economic prospects, identifying key challenges and emerging opportunities, and highlighting the priorities of the private sector. The findings also contribute to the development of a long-term reference framework for monitoring business trends in Thailand and support evidence-based policy formulation and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the country’s competitiveness.
