ศูนย์ศึกษาเอเปค สถาบันอาณาบริเวณศึกษา (TIARA) มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ร่วมกับ กรมเศรษฐกิจระหว่างประเทศ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ จัดการสัมมนาวิชาการ “APEC Perspectives in an International Context” ณ ห้องนราธิป กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ เพื่อส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และมุมมองด้านความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจของภูมิภาคเอเชีย–แปซิฟิก ท่ามกลางบริบทโลกที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว
การสัมมนาครั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก Mr. Eduardo Pedrosa Executive Director of the APEC Secretariat บรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ “Regional Cooperation in a Changing World: Towards an Open, Dynamic, Resilient and Peaceful Asia-Pacific Community” ถ่ายทอดวิสัยทัศน์และมุมมองต่อทิศทางความร่วมมือของเอเปคและภูมิภาคเอเชีย–แปซิฟิกในอนาคต
ในโอกาสนี้ ได้รับเกียรติจาก คุณรุจิกร แสงจันทร์ อธิบดีกรมเศรษฐกิจระหว่างประเทศ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ศุภสวัสดิ์ ชัชวาลย์ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ กล่าวเปิดการสัมมนา พร้อมเน้นย้ำความสำคัญของการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระดับภูมิภาค เพื่อรับมือกับความท้าทายและโอกาสของเศรษฐกิจโลกในยุคปัจจุบัน
ภายในงาน ผู้เข้าร่วมได้รับฟังการนำเสนอ APEC Regional Trends Analysis โดย APEC Policy Support Unit (PSU) และร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองผ่านกิจกรรม Fireside Chat ซึ่งสะท้อนบทบาทของเวทีวิชาการในการเชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้ การกำหนดนโยบาย และความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ ภาคการศึกษา และภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้อง

The APEC Study Center, Thammasat Institute of Area Studies (TIARA), Thammasat University, in collaboration with the Department of International Economic Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, organized the seminar “APEC Perspectives in an International Context” at Naradhip Auditorium, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ThailandThe seminar served as a platform for exchanging knowledge and perspectives on economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region amid an increasingly dynamic global landscape.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Eduardo Pedrosa, Executive Director of the APEC Secretariat, who delivered a keynote lecture entitled “Regional Cooperation in a Changing World: Towards an Open, Dynamic, Resilient and Peaceful Asia-Pacific Community.” His presentation offered valuable insights into the future direction of APEC cooperation and the evolving role of the Asia-Pacific region in addressing global challenges.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Ms. Rujikorn Saengchantr, Director-General of the Department of International Economic Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and Prof.Supasawad Chardchawarn, Ph.D., Rector of Thammasat University. In their opening remarks, both speakers underscored the importance of strengthening regional cooperation to address emerging global challenges and seize new opportunities in the evolving international economic landscape.
Participants also attended a presentation on the APEC Regional Trends Analysis by the APEC Policy Support Unit (PSU), followed by an engaging Fireside Chat that encouraged constructive dialogue and the exchange of perspectives among policymakers, academics, and participants from various sectors. The discussions highlighted the vital role of academic forums in fostering knowledge exchange and advancing regional cooperation.
