ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธันยพร สุนทรธรรม ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันอาณาบริเวณศึกษา พร้อมด้วยคณะทำงาน ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะ H.E. Mr. Evgeny Tomikhin เอกอัครราชทูตสหพันธรัฐรัสเซียประจำประเทศไทย เพื่อหารือแนวทางการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษา การวิจัย และการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับรัสเซียและภูมิภาคที่เกี่ยวเนื่อง
การหารือครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญในการขยายเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันฯ กับสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองและแนวทางการพัฒนากิจกรรมทางวิชาการร่วมกัน อาทิ การบรรยายพิเศษ การจัดเสวนาทางวิชาการ การแลกเปลี่ยนนักวิชาการและผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ตลอดจนการสนับสนุนข้อมูลและองค์ความรู้ด้านรัสเซียและภูมิภาคที่เกี่ยวเนื่อง เพื่อส่งเสริมการศึกษาด้านอาณาบริเวณศึกษาและสร้างความเข้าใจอันดีระหว่างประเทศไทยกับสหพันธรัฐรัสเซีย

Assistant Professor Dr. Thanyaporn Soontonthum, Director of the Thammasat Institute of Area Studies (TIARA), together with the Institute’s staff, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Mr. Evgeny Tomikhin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Thailand, to discuss opportunities for strengthening academic cooperation in the fields of education, research, and knowledge exchange on Russia and its neighboring regions.
The meeting marked another important step in expanding collaboration between TIARA and the Embassy of the Russian Federation. Both sides exchanged views on future academic initiatives, including distinguished lectures, academic seminars, exchanges of scholars and experts, and the sharing of academic information and resources. These collaborative efforts will contribute to advancing area studies and fostering greater mutual understanding between Thailand and the Russian Federation.
