Thammasat Institute of Area Studies (TIARA), Thammasat University is glad to announce that, PROFESSOR EMERITUS WILLIAM T. TOW from Australia National University, Canberra is joining us as the 'CHAIR PROFESSOR'. Chair Professor is the most prestigious awards ever given in the whole university. Professor Emeritus William Tow is sponsored under ‘Bualuang ASEAN Chair Professor Scheme”. Only person with great credentials and substantial contributions will be endowed with Chair Professorship.

Emeritus Prof. William Tow will be joining TIARA for the next two years. It will be an exciting journey for TIARA and MAPS as our students have the chance to interact and learn more from Prof. William Tow, especially on global security issues. As part of the scheme, this arrangement will see plenty of professors from the Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs, ANU coming to TIARA and possibly engage with our students.
