3rd TU-CAPS, 6-7 December 2018 at Dusit Thani Hua Hin, Phetchaburi, Thailand

The third edition of TU-CAP was held at Hua Hin, the beautiful seaside city of Phetchaburi. With the theme of “Asia-Pacific amidst the Challenging Times”, scholars and postgraduate students presented their works that addressed what have been going on in the region. For the first time, TIARA and co-organizers including Faculty of Political Science at Thammasat University, Australian National University, University of Canterbury at New Zealand, GASAP at Waseda University, and Meiji University organized the panel presentation on specific area studies starting with Australian Studies and ASEAN studies panel.

Our keynote speaker was Associate Professor Gasinee Witoonchart, Rector of Thammasat University who addressed how important education is in this disruptive world and how Thammasat University would respond to this challenge.
