Thammasat Institute of Area Studies (TIARA) has continued our success for the 4th TU-CAPS 2019. The 2-day international conference took place in Chiang Mai, Thailand from 12-13 December 2019 under the theme of "Pacific Rim in the Next Decade". This year we focused on contemporary issues of the Asia Pacific from renowned invited guests, academics, scholars and students of Asia Pacific Studies.

The third edition of TU-CAP was held at Hua Hin, the beautiful seaside city of Phetchaburi. With the theme of “Asia-Pacific amidst the Challenging Times”, scholars and postgraduate students presented their works that addressed what have been going on in the region.

Following the success of the inaugural TU-CAPS in Phuket, December 2016, TIARA has carried on in pursuing its second year. The 2-day international conference took place in the beautiful province of Chiang Rai, Thailand, from December 7-8 December 2017, bearing the theme: ‘Asia-Pacific: World’s New Focal Point’.

On the 8th of December 2016, TIARA created its new milestone with the launching of inaugural Thammasat Annual Academics and Postgraduate International Conference in Phuket, Thailand. With the theme of ‘Asia-Pacific Century: Integrating the Differences’, the international conference brought together renowned academics and scholars around the world with expertise on Area studies.
